‘On The Road’ Opens the Mill Valley Film Festival (San Francisco Bay Area)


Walter Salles’ On The Road will open the Mill Valley Film Festival (San Francisco Bay Area) on October 4th. As is tradition with MVFF, which is celebrating its 35th year, there will be two films screening on the night of the festival’s kick-off. David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook will co-open with On The Road. Salles, along with Russell, will be at MVFF in person to present their films.
There will be two screenings of On The Road on opening night, one at 6:30pm and one at 6:45pm at the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on September 16th. The tickets will be availableonline, by phone 877.874.MVFF (6833), as well as in-person at a number of box offices in the San Francisco Bay Area.
If you are in the area to see the film, you can also make a short trip over to the Beat Museum, as well!
