You know that somebody is worth a few quid when their name has a showbiz abbreviation, and so it is with “R-Patz”, the actor who has built a career and fortune around being able to appear convincingly dead. As heart-throb vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight films, the London-born Pattinson helped the five-movie franchise to gross more than $2 billion in ticket sales, and no doubt, an incalculable amount when it comes to merchandise. For the final two films, he reportedly earned $12.5 million plus 7.5 per cent of the box-office gross. A generation of girls will grow up paying to see him in anything.
